Before you book
- Book as soon as the date is confirmed — rooms near popular venues go months ahead, especially on summer Saturdays.
- Rural venues have few taxis late at night. Book your lift back before the day, or agree a shared minibus with other guests.
- Ask the couple or the venue whether there are rooms on site before booking elsewhere.
- Many guests want the night before as well as the wedding night — set your dates to match.
Venue from the official list of premises approved for civil weddings in England and Wales. Details can change — check with the venue before you travel.
